Trento, Vittorio

Trento, Vittorio (1761–1833)

Italian composer. He was a pupil of Ferdinando Bertoni (1725–1813). In the last decade of the 18th century he visited London as conductor at the King's Theatre and in 1806 became impresario at Amsterdam, going to Lisbon in the same capacity soon after. After a further visit to London he returned to Venice before his death.
