Tres Arroyos

Town in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, 175 km/109 mi east of Bahía Blanca; population (1991) 40,000. It is the centre of an agricultural and livestock-farming district, concentrating particularly on wheat and cattle.

Many of the inhabitants of Tres Arroyos are of Dutch or Danish origin.
