Tring

Market town in Hertfordshire, southeast England, in the Chiltern Hills, between Hemel Hempstead and Aylesbury; population (2001) 13,300. Trade in agricultural produce is important and there is a flour mill and a light engineering works. Features include Tring Park and the Zoological Museum, which is part of the British Museum's natural-history section. Tring reservoirs are a national nature reserve.
