Trinity Bay

Inlet of the Atlantic Ocean in southeastern Newfoundland, Canada, between the Avalon Peninsula and the Bonavista Peninsula, 65 km/40 mi northwest of St John's; length over 100 km/60 mi; width up to 40 km/25 mi.

Heavily indented, it is ringed with small outports (fishing villages), including Heart's Delight, Heart's Desire, and Heart's Content, and has a maritime, fish-based history.
