Tsavo National Park

National park in southeastern Kenya, established 1948. One of the world's largest, it occupies 20,821 sq km/8,036 sq mi, which is over 4% of Kenya's land area. Mzima Springs in the park pump about 280,000 l/61,600 gal of water per minute, providing much of Mombasa's fresh water via a pipeline to the coast.
