Tuček, Vincenc (1773–1821)

Bohemian tenor, conductor, and composer. After working as a singer and conductor at theatres in Prague and Vienna, he was Kapellmeister to the Duke of Courland in Sagan 1797–99, then music director at the Silesian national theatre in Breslau (1799) and at the Leopoldstädtertheater in Vienna (1806–09). Later he also worked in Budapest.

Works

operas and Singspiele Dämona, Lanassa, Der Zauberkuss, etc.; masses and other church music; cantatas.
