Tuček, Vincenc (1773-1821)

Bohemian tenor, conductor, and composer. After working as a singer and conductor at theatres in Prague and Vienna, he was Kapellmeister to the Duke of Courland in Sagan 1797-99, then music director at the Silesian national theatre in Breslau (1799) and at the Leopoldstädtertheater in Vienna (1806-09). Later he also worked in Budapest.

Works

operas and Singspiele Dämona, Lanassa, Der Zauberkuss, etc.; masses and other church music; cantatas.
