Ullman, Tracey (1959– )

English comedian, actor, and singer. Her breakthrough as a comic came with television's Three of a Kind (1981). After moving to the USA she began the Tracey Ullman Show (from 1987), which achieved five Grammy awards. Her singing career, consisting largely of cover versions, includes ‘Breakaway’, ‘Move Over Darling’, and ‘They Don't Know’. In 2000 she appeared in Woody Allen's film Small Time Crooks.

Ullman was born in Buckinghamshire. She went to stage school in London and had parts in the musicals Elvis and Grease!.

The video for her song ‘They Don't Know’ featured an appearance by Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock.
