uncommitted logic array

In computing, a type of semicustomized integrated circuit in which the logic gates are laid down to a general-purpose design but are not connected to each other. The interconnections can then be set in place according to the requirements of individual manufacturers. Producing ULAs may be cheaper than using a large number of TTL (transistor–transistor logic) chips or commissioning a fully customized chip.
