Undercliff, the

Succession of cliffs and terraces sloping towards the sea on the southern coast of the Isle of Wight, England, and extending from Dunnose past Ventnor to Blackgang Chine.

The formation is the result of landslips. The district extends for about 11 km/7 mi, and is 400–800 m/450–900 yd wide.
