Atlantic College| Experimental international boarding college for 16–18-year-olds, conceived by German educationist Kurt Hahn, the first of the United World Colleges. It was opened in 1962 near Cardiff, Wales; there are 11 others around the globe. The colleges take students from all over the world and offer the international Baccalauréat qualification at 18. |
