Unser, Al (1939– )| US auto racer. He won the Indianapolis 500 four times (1970–71, 1978, 1987). His brother, Bobby Unser (1934– ), won the Indianapolis 500 three times (1968, 1975, 1981). His son, Al Unser, Jr (1962– ), became a champion auto racer and won the Indianapolis 500 in 1992 and 1994. Al Unser was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. |
