Upnor

Part of Rochester, Kent, southeast England, in the northern Medway towns area. There are ruins here of the castle built in 1561 by Elizabeth I to protect the Medway and Chatham Docks. In 1667 a Dutch fleet sailed past the castle and destroyed a number of English ships. The Arethusa training ship is moored here.
