    0.01 sec.

Usedom Island

Island divided between Germany and Poland, lying between the Zalew Szczeciński lagoon and the Baltic Sea, off the mouth of the River Oder, covering an area of 1,139 sq km/440 sq mi. The chief town is the Polish Świnoujście, a bulk-cargo port and resort.

Formerly in German Prussia, the island was divided after 1945 between the Polish province of Szczecin and the German district of Rostock. The adjacent island Wolin is on the Polish side.
