V numbers
| In computing, series of protocols issued by the CCITT defining the rate at which modems transfer data. The numbers have come to designate a modem's speed: V.32 modems transmit at up to 9,600 bits per second (bps); V.32bis at up to 14,400 bps; and V.34 at up to 28,800 bps. |
