Valses nobles et sentimentales

Set of waltzes by Maurice Ravel, composed for piano in 1911 and afterwards scored for orchestra. The title is derived from Franz Schubert, who published two sets: Valses nobles, D969, and Valses sentimentales, D779. Ravel's work was turned into a ballet, Adélaïde, ou Le Langage des fleurs, first produced in Paris on 22 April 1912.
