Van Keulen, Isabelle (1966– )

Dutch violinist. She studied with Sandor Vegh and in Amsterdam. Since 1983 she has appeared in concerts with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the Detroit and Minnesota Symphony Orchestras. She has performed at the Salzburg Festival and with Gidon Kremer's Lockenhaus Soloists. Her repertoire includes concertos by Dutilleux, Strauss, Schnittke, Spohr, and Stravinsky. She also plays the viola in quintets, with the Orlando and Borodin Quartets.
