Video CD

CD-ROM that conforms to Philips' White Book standard for displaying full-motion digital video using MPEG data compression. Video CD is used to store films on CD-ROM for playback on Philips CD-I players and personal computers or consoles equipped with an MPEG decoder in hardware and/or software.
