Vejvanovský, Pavel Josef (c. 1655–1693)| Moravian composer and trumpeter. Many of his Masses, offertories, and motets feature technically fluent parts for trumpets, trombones, and cornets. |
| He studied at Opava and from 1661 worked at Kroměříž, where he composed and played the trumpet at the court. Much of his music shows the influence of Heinrich Schmelzer and other composers at the court of Emperor Leopold I in Vienna. |
