Vie parisienne, La

Operetta by Offenbach (libretto by Henri Meilhac and Ludovic Halévy), produced at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal, Paris, on 31 October 1866. The story concerns Bobinet and Gardefeu, who trick Swedish aristocrats on tour in Paris by posing as guests in the Grand Hôtel. Gardefeu pursues the Baroness while her husband is too preoccupied with other women to notice.
