Vignoles, Roger (1945– )

English pianist and conductor. He studied at Cambridge and made his London debut in 1967. He has accompanied such singers as Elisabeth Söderström, Bridget Fassbaender, Thomas Allen, and Sylvia McNair in recitals throughout Europe and the USA; he made his Salzburg debut in 1984, with Heinrich Schiff. He was a professor at the Royal College of Music, London (1974–81). He conducted Handel's Agrippina at the 1992 Buxton Festival.
