Villeneuve, Jacques Joseph Charles (1971– )

Canadian racing driver who rose to prominence in 1995 when he won the Indy Car World Series and the Indianapolis 500. Two years later, driving for the Williams team, he became the first Canadian to win the Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship.
