| Opera by Puccini (libretto by F Fontana), produced at the Teatro dal Verme, Milan, on 31 May 1884. In the story, Roberto abandons his betrothed, Anna, who dies of grief. When he later returns, Anna's ghost haunts him with other ghosts of jilted girls, dancing with him until he dies. |
