Visual Basic

Microsoft computer language based on BASIC. Visual Basic provides a rich set of visual programming tools that allow programmers to copy and paste common Windows components on to forms, in order to build Windows applications. BASIC is the language that is used to combine all the graphical components, and to code subroutines. As of 2007 the latest version was 6.
