Vogler, Carl (1874–1951)| Swiss composer. He studied at Lucerne, with Hegar and others at Zurich, and with Rheinberger and others at Munich. In 1915 he became a professor at the Zurich Conservatory and in 1919 was appointed joint director with Volkmar Andreae. |
Works operas Rübezahl (1917) and Fiedelhänschen (1924), play with music Mutter Sybille (1906); organ works; songs and part-songs. |
