Volbach, Fritz (1861-1940)

German composer and conductor. He studied at the Cologne Conservatory. He joined the staff of the Royal Institute of Church Music in Berlin in 1886, became music director at Mainz in 1892, and professor of music at Tübingen University in 1907. He moved to Münster University in 1919.
