Voskhod

Either of two Soviet spacecraft launched in October 1964 and March 1965. Voskhod was modified from the single-seat Vostok, and was the first spacecraft capable of carrying two or three cosmonauts. During Voskhod 2's flight in 1965, Aleksi Leonov made the first space walk.
