Vrieslander, Otto (1880–1950)

German musicologist and composer. As a musicologist he was a pupil of Heinrich Schenker (1868–1935), whose unfinished Harmonielehre he completed. He also wrote on C P E Bach and edited some of his works.

He studied at the Cologne Conservatory, settled at Munich in 1906, and went to live at Locarno in Switzerland in 1920.
