Vycpálek, Ladislav (1882–1969)

Czech composer. He studied philosophy at Prague University, where he obtained a doctorate, and became secretary to the University library. He also studied composition with Vitězslav Novák at the Conservatory.

cantata The Last Things of Man; song-cycles Quiet Reconcilement (1909), Visions, In God's Hands, Moravian ballads and folksongs; piano pieces; chamber music; choruses for mixed and male voices.
