WebcamAny camera connected to the Internet, usually for the purpose of displaying an image on a Web page. Webcams are trained on a wide range of famous sights such as London's Tower Bridge. They have also been placed inside birds' nesting boxes, refrigerators, strip clubs, and bedrooms. What may have been the first Webcam was aimed at a flask of coffee in the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory.
