Waveney

River in England that forms part of the boundary between Norfolk and Suffolk; length 80 km/50 mi. The Waveney rises near the Little Ouse and flows past the towns of Diss, Bungay, and Beccles. It is navigable as far as Geldeston. It joins the Yare 6 km/4 mi southwest of Great Yarmouth.
