Wentzville

Town in St Charles County, east-central Missouri; population (1990) 5,100. It is located 64 km/40 mi west-northwest of St Louis city centre. It is home to a large General Motors assembly plant. Founded in 1855, it was a major tobacco manufacturing centre during the 1870s.
