Weobley

Village in Herefordshire, England, 13 km/8 mi southwest of Leominster; population (2001) 1,250. Dating from the Middle Ages, it was formerly a market town.

It has many black-and-white timbered medieval houses, a 17th-century former grammar school (now a private house), and the moat and bailey of a 12th-century castle. The church is largely 14th century.

Mary grew up in the picturesque Herefordshire village of Weobley, full of timber-framed black and white houses and ranked as one of the Top 50 best places to live in England.
Owen, of Weobley, Herefordshire, said he was lucky his wife Maria, 83, was so patient.
It is a savoury cheesecake made with Herefordshire smoked Weobley cheese, red peppers, mushrooms and comes with potato wedges, baby spinach and asparagus salad in a red pepper dressing.
