Werff, Adriaen van der (1659–1722)
| Dutch painter, engraver, and architect. His portraits and subject pictures were much admired for their elegance and finish. He studied with Eglon van der Neer, visited Germany and was retained by the elector palatine Johann Wilhelm to act as his court painter for six months in the year. |
