West Vancouver

Town in Greater Vancouver Regional District, southwest British Columbia, Canada; population (1991) 38,800. It is situated on the north entrance to Burrard Inlet, opposite Vancouver city centre. It is an affluent residential suburb, also noted for the recreational use of its mountainsides and streams.
