West Warwick
| Town in Kent County, east-central Rhode Island; population (1990) 29,300. It is situated on the Pawtuxet River, 19 km/12 mi southwest of Providence, and to the west of Warwick. It has been a textile centre since 1794; other industries include biotechnology. |
