Westlake

Town in Cuyahoga County, north Ohio; population (1990) 27,000. It is located 19 km/12 mi west of Cleveland. Westlake is essentially a commuter suburb, with some light manufacturing. Among the items produced are construction components, cosmetics, ink, and plastics. On the surrounding farmland, potatoes, corn, grapes, and wheat are grown.
