Westwood

Section of the Westside of Los Angeles, California. It is located to the west of Beverly Hills, and 18 km/11 mi west of Los Angeles city centre. Incorporating the 1920s Westwood Village shopping centre and the campus of the University of California at Los Angeles (1929), it is a trendy, youth-oriented area with affluent residential neighbourhoods and some high-rise office development.

Town in Bergen County, northeast New Jersey; population (1990) 10,400. It is located 11 km/7 mi north of Hackensack. Westwood is primarily a New York bedroom community, with some light industry.
