Market town in Shropshire, England, 30 km/19 mi north of Shrewsbury; population (2001) 11,250. Industries include structural engineering and the manufacture of milk products. There is a long tradition of the making and maintenance of clocks, including railway clocks and large tower clocks.

Town in Hampshire, England, on the River Test, between Basingstoke and Andover; population (2001) 4,800. Papermaking is the main industry, and it used to produce paper for banknotes.
