White Rock

Town in Greater Vancouver Regional District, southwest British Columbia, Canada; population (1991) 16,300. It is situated on Boundary Bay, 35 km/22 mi southeast of Vancouver, on the Washington state border. Separated from Surrey in 1957, it had earlier developed as a beachfront resort community. It is primarily residential.
