Whitefish Bay

Town in Milwaukee County, southeast Wisconsin; population (1990) 14,300. It is situated on Lake Michigan, 8 km/5 mi north of Milwaukee. It is a residential community set on bluffs overlooking the lake. US settlement dates from 1842.
