Wickham

Coastal town in northern Western Australia, 1,570 km/976 mi north of Perth; population (1996) 1,600. The town is owned and operated by the Robe River Iron Associates company. Industries include iron ore, transport, and tourism.

The town was established in 1971 to service the iron ore mines of the surrounding region.
