Wightman, Hazel (Virginia Hotchkiss) (1886–1974)

US tennis player. She won the US women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles three times each (1909–11), a record shared by only two others. Nicknamed the ‘Queen Mother of Tennis’, she won a total of 45 national championships. Wightman was born in Healdsburg, California.
