Wilson, Teddy (Theodore Shaw) (1912-1986)

US bandleader and jazz pianist. He toured with Benny Goodman 1935-39 and during that period recorded in small groups with many of the best musicians of the time; some of his 1930s recordings feature the singer Billie Holiday. Wilson led a big band 1939-40 and a sextet 1940-46.
