WinCode

In computing, program developed by US company Snappy Inc, that uses a process known as bit-shifting to UUencode and UUdecode binary programs and files in 7-bit ASCII text so that they can be transmitted via online systems and over the Internet. Several other coding systems are also used, and recent versions of WinCode can handle most of the common formats. WinCode is a copyright program distributed as freeware.
