Windows-Based Terminal

Network computer designed to display Microsoft Windows programs, such as Word and Excel, which are being run not on the local machine but on a server computer. WBTs have their own processor and memory but do not necessarily have a hard drive and usually will not have a floppy disk drive. WBTs typically use Microsoft's RDP protocol and/or ICA, from Citrix.
