Witt, Katarina (1965- )

German ice-skater. She was 1984 Olympic champion (representing East Germany) and retained her title four years later. She also won four world titles (1984-85, 1987-88) and six consecutive European titles (1983-88). After four years as a professional she returned to competitive skating in 1993.
