Wolfville

Town in Kings County, west-central Nova Scotia, Canada; population (1991) 3,500. It is situated in a rich fruit-growing and dairying region, at the mouth of the Cornwallis River on Minas Basin, 76 km/47 mi northwest of Halifax, and to the west of Grand Pré. The town is an agricultural centre and home to Acadia University (1838).
