Wood, Bryce (1909-1986)

US political scientist. Born in Everett, Washington, he promoted research on Latin America as executive associate of the Social Science Research Council (1949-73) while himself writing such influential works on US foreign policy and international relations as The United States and Latin American Wars, 1932-1942 (1966) and two studies of the Good Neighbour policy (1966, 1985).
