Woodforde, Mark (1965– )

Australian tennis player and one half of the most successful tennis doubles pairing ever. With his right-handed partner Todd Woodbridge the left-handed Woodforde won 61 doubles tournaments, including 11 Grand Slam titles and 2 Olympic medals. His first Grand Slam title, however, came in 1989 with John McEnroe at the US Open. Of his 71 career titles, just 4 came playing in singles. He retired at the end of 2000.
