Woodridge

Town in Du Page and Will counties, northeast Illinois; population (1990) 26,300. It is situated on the east branch of the Chicago River, 32 km/20 mi southwest of Chicago. It is a residential community, largely inhabited by commuters to Chicago and nearby industrial parks. The Argonne National Laboratory is 6 km/4 mi to the southeast.
